Indimenticabile weekend
Borgo immerso nel verde e nella tranquillità La camera chiamata Tosca è un suite spaziosa con arredamento in stile antico e ha anche a disposizione un piccolo balcone che affaccia sul borgoLa colazione è internazionale, abbondante ma non a buffet(si può ordinare più di una volta)La struttura ha a disposizione una bellissima piscina, un tavolo da ping pong, zone relax con lettini ed ha anche una zona con giochi per bimbi, un angolo tè.La struttura non offre servizio ristorativo, ad eccezione del mercoledi e venerdi in cui è possibile gustare un menù con prodotti locali biologiciIl borgo è anche dotato di un bar nel quale è possibile fare merenda con torte fatte in casa, gustare cocktail o sorseggiare dell'ottimo vinoIl personale è molto cordiale attento ad ogni particolare e alle esigenze del cliente ( esempio ci hanno fatto lasciare le mtb nella loro cantina )La zona circostante offre tantissime escursioni sia a piedi che in bici ( preferibile e-bike )Per gli appassionati di mtb il borgo offre una app per scaricare percorsi di ogni difficolta della zona

"Accoglienza, professionalità e tanta passione!"
Siamo rimasti estasiati del Borgo, della natura circostante, della storia che racchiude, del clima particolare e della famiglia D'Amico che gestisce l'azienda agricola e l'ospitalità con grande professionalità e passione. Consigliamo a chi vuole passare alcuni giorni di vacanza sentendosi in famiglia, assaporando prodotti genuini e tipici del territorio. Splendida la colazione in terrazza e i piatti delle serate a tema, molto bello l'appartamento, accattivante, comodo e pulitissimo. Il tempo è volato, purtroppo. Consigliamo questa esperienza a chi desidera davvero staccare. Un grazie alla famiglia D'Amico e a tutto il personale!Luisa e Roberto di Padova

Wonderful family stay
We spent 3 days in Borgo Mocale where we had a wonderful stay with our 2 children. I do recommend this place to rest and to enjoy the cultural italian spirit. You are in a middle of the mountains which is very peaceful but you can enjoy as well visiting Toscana.

Un incantevole borgo
Abbiamo soggiornato in questo angolo di paradiso per 5 giorni.Tutto impeccabile dall'accoglienza alle colazioni e alle cene, il luogo è incantevole, qui trovi tranquillità ci siamo rigenerati lontani dal caos e stress della città.Un ringraziamento speciale ad Antonella e Pino che ci hanno fatto sentire come fossimo a casa.Non dimenticheremo questo luogo e non mancherà occasione di farvi ritorno .

Relaxing family holiday
Borgo Mocale offers wonderfully and tastefully furnished rooms in a beautiful village-like ensemble of houses on top of a small hill. The views from Borgo Mocale are exciting - the Tuscan landscape is really something special. We spent a week here with our family, enjoying the pool, visiting the farm animals and doing trips to the best-known Tuscan sights. The owner family are wonderful people; from our arrival until our departure we felt welcome and at home, and they provided useful and helpful tips for each of our small trips. Two times we had a typical dinner with local organic food - all the courses tasted great and the whole setting was really something special. The sounds of animals, the views, the scents. The hosts also have an extremely interesting house wine, which you definitely should try. Did I mention the pool? It‘s clean (like all the buildings), and surprisingly deep at 2.80m. We also enjoyed the breakfasts with a wide range of food: fruit, cake, eggs, cereals, bread …

PARADISO
Il soggiorno presso il Borgo Mocale ha un unico, grandissimo, problema. Doverlo lasciare a fine vacanza :-). Posto incantevole, ben curato in ogni suo dettaglio, dalle camere alle zone "comuni" al patio dove poter degustare colazioni sublimi e cene rilassanti. Personale molto professionale ed al tempo stesso familiare. La fam. D'Amico ti fa sentire non un ospite ma un amico di lunga data, ed in questa atmosfera magica il tempo, purtroppo, vola. Consiglio, oltre al posto, anche le cene a tema che Antonella prepara con amore nel segno della tradizione e della, giusta, abbondanza.

Bellissimo!
Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato per 4 giorni in questo meraviglioso Borgo.La location è veramente bellissima, tipica toscana,molto curata e tenuta benissimo.Il nostro appartamento era delizioso, spazioso e pulitissimo.Le colazioni servite in terrazza sono abbondanti e varie.La struttura è gestita da una famiglia che dimostra l'amore per questo luogo, tutti gentili, disponibili e con una accoglienza come se tutti gli ospiti fossero amici da vario tempo.Consiglio Borgo Mocale a chi desidera trascorrere qualche giorno in completo relax pur essendo a pochi chilometri dalle principali città d'arte della Toscana

Rigenerante
Con il mio compagno e la nostra bimba di sei mesi abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in un appartamento del borgo: pulito, ordinato, con tutto il necessario per lunghi soggiorni, la veranda un po' calda ma le altre stanze molto fresche. Il borgo è immerso nella natura, con bel panorama, tranquillo e silenzioso. Piscina pulitissima. Si viene accolti dal calore, la simpatia e l'ospitalità della famiglia D'Amico. Già pensiamo di tornarci la prossima primavera.

Posto meraviglioso adatto per il tipo di soggiorno che cercavamo. I proprietari molto gentili e disponibili, il custode molto simpatico le caprette lo inseguivano come se fosse il loro padre ,torneremo sicuramente

Amazing stay in Tuscany
I have literally had it on my to do list to write a review for Borgo Macale since we left there almost two years ago. Life got in the way, but it was such a magical stay that I knew I eventually had to make time to share with others why they have to stay at this amazing Agriturismo. My only regret about our stay is that we did not book it for long enough. When you arrive at Borgo Macale, you are welcomed warmly and invited to sit down and enjoy a drink on their balcony, enjoying the magnificent view, while the details of payment etc. are dealt with as painlessly as possible. The heart and soul of Borgo Macale is Antonella, who may be the single most competent person I’ve ever met. She compiles regularly updated binders with activities, restaurants, museums, etc in the surrounding areas and eagerly asks you to allow her to book anything in them for you. A chalkboard is updated daily announcing the main events in the area and at Borgo Macale. Beyond being supremely organized and on top of everything, Antonella treats everyone she meets as if you are the new friend she has been waiting to meet. Antonella’s husband Guiseppe does not speak a word of English, but my husband and I had many delightful conversations with him in gestures and our incredibly minimal Italian, and he showed us around the drawing room containing prized possessions he and Antonella had accumulated in their world travels together. Biweekly Antonella, her husband, and her son, cook a not to be missed multi-course dinner made from ingredients from their farm. You should also not skimp on the daily breakfast, also comprised of farm fresh ingredients.My husband and I stayed at the adorable renovated farm house on top of a hill. The drive is very steep and rough, and although they have a specially designated car to drive up it, neither my husband nor I drive stick shift, so we had to really strain our little VW to get to the top. Once we were up there though, it was well worth it. We were splendidly isolated, and the view could not be beat. Neither my husband nor I normally like dogs, but we loved our regular visits from the farm dog Toscono and would leave out a bowl of water for him.Borgo Macale is well located to visit all the wonderful little Tuscan towns, as well as Florence. Our best day in Tuscany, however, was the day, exhausted from our time in Rome, we decided just to stay on the compound, taking advantage of the well maintained, beautiful pool, again with a spectacular view, drinking cappuccinos (one of the family will make you one at any time of day without judgment, even though in Italy cappuccinos are only meant for the morning), and chatting with the other guests. Even though there were many families on the compound, the general ambiance was quiet and serene, as well as very convivial. A good deal of the guests seemed to be regulars which we found very understandable; if we didn’t have to fly across the Atlantic to get there we might go there every summer too.
